Common Problems in the Installation Process of Wall Hung Toilets

But if it is ground drainage, we need to adjust the pipeline and install the drain on the wall. There are two ways to change.

This is the easiest to understand. Add another section to the original ground drain, which stretches all the way to the wall. In order to prevent the pipes from being hidden underground after adding pipes, the old pipes can be cut down a section, and then new pipes can be connected.

The old drain was directly blocked and used. We looked aside and found the vertical main pipe. Open a hole in the main pipe and add a tee. And extend the pipe from the tee to the toilet position, and make a new drain.

The wall-hung toilet is divided into two parts. The first part is the toilet we see. It is the same as the ordinary toilet. It can be installed after the decoration is completed. The toilet business generally provides services.

The other part is invisible to us, the part of the water tank hidden in the wall (the wall-hung toilet has a separate water tank, and its water tank is not integrated into the toilet). There are also the following two methods to install the water tank.

If the wall directly behind the toilet is a non-load-bearing wall, you can open a groove on the wall that is slightly larger than the water tank (including the support frame), and then put the water tank in the groove.

The advantage of this is that the wall behind the toilet will be flat like other walls in the future and will not take up extra space.

If the wall directly behind the toilet is a load-bearing wall, or you simply don’t want to slot in the wall, you can also build a wall to install it. The method is to put the water tank directly on the wall and start connecting the pipes. After the pipes are connected, build the walls around and cover the water tank in the new wall.

The newly built wall is obviously more prominent than other walls after the decoration is completed. But it’s okay, you can use it as decoration, or you can put debris on top of the wall.
